Reach Architects is a faith-based, full-service Architecture & Engineering firm based in Austin, Texas, USA. Our body of work is varied, with the only common thread being that in each project we find a new opportunity to further the Kingdom of Heaven through our vocation— our “project for a more Christian architecture”.

Our work focuses on creating solutions that creatively and positively impact the people our projects serve. Our process involves an important combination of the people we work with, the environmental and social issues related to each site, and the technologies that can be implemented to achieve innovative buildings.

Real change starts with asking better questions and you will meet few people who ask better questions than Les Strech.  After travel across the world studying living environments for older adults, Les has been a key influence and advisor to Reach on how space and the built environment interacts with people; especially older adults.

Les is the COO and Managing Principal for McNair Interests, a private investment company that focuses on transformative real estate projects.  Prior to leading at McNair, Les was President of Atlanta, GA based Thrive Senior Living.  Thrive develops, owns and operates luxury apartments, cottages and homes for older adults across the southeast, mid-Atlantic and Northeast.

Les was recently named a 2021 American Changemaker in Senior Living by Senior Housing News:

Les is a frequent speaker in the School of Entrepreneurship and School of Social Work at Baylor University and is often invited by other companies to speak on topics ranging from leadership, to effective communication, to embracing controversy, to building a company culture to stand the test of time.

Personally, Les just crossed 20 years of marriage to his college sweetheart Emily.  They have 4 kids ranging from 16 years old to 11 years old.  While Les is a native Houstonian of more than 30 years, he currently lives in Atlanta, GA where he actively coaches travel basketball and baseball.
